I am honestly obsessed with commercial studio photography! Always have been, always will be! I shoot people, products, beauty, fashion, food and drinks for advertising agencies, corporate clients and entrepreneurs.

I love working with all kinds of creatives because the best campaigns are a team effort with everyone bringing their 'A' game, pushing our collective skills and ideas forward to create new and dynamic images.
I started off as a second and worked up to first assistant to Angus Thompson, a great all rounder photographer in London, just steps away from the heart of all things advertising in Soho.
I learnt how to shoot absolutely everything from diamonds at Garrads, accessories at Dunhill and models for Revlon. And also how to deal with clients, follow creative briefs, and meet deadlines.
At first everything was shot on transparency film from Hasselblad 6"x6" all the way up to Sinar 10"x8". We had to polaroid proof everything, and still wait two hours to get the film back from the lab to be sure that we really got the shots! It was the best grounding for everything I do! Then digital upped our game and things got really exciting!
After that I ran my own studio near London's Tower Bridge, shooting for hair, beauty, fashion and jewelry clients, before finally moving back home to the T&T sunshine to defrost by sailing, beaching it and liming over rum and cokes!

I am now based in my own Port of Spain studio space, but I also shoot on location or use the other great local rental studios for any larger scale productions.
​
My fullframe cameras give you digital files that can easily go up to sharp billboards, and studio lights mean we can create any ambiance we want, night or day, indoors or out! And by always shooting tethered to my laptop, you can see your images on screen in real time as we shoot, wherever we are.
​
Some of the images on my site are composites, done either by myself or the ad agencies I work with, so if we can't create the image directly in camera, we can shoot all the elements to make up that perfect composite image. I also do a lot of the retouching on non-agency images.
